Janette Kerr is a British painter.From 1980-1993, Kerr taught as a full-time lecturer in painting, printmaking and drawing at the City of Bath College.She served as the president of the Royal West of England Academy from 2011 to 2016 and then became a visiting research fellow in Fine Art at the University of the West of England.Kerr says she tries to blend her experience of Shetland coastline - the weather, the ocean, and the people who live and work there -- as well oceanographic studies, in her art.

Janette Kerr is a British painter.

From 1980-1993, Kerr taught as a full-time lecturer in painting, printmaking and drawing at the City of Bath College.[1]

She served as the president of the Royal West of England Academy from 2011 to 2016 and then became a visiting research fellow in Fine Art at the University of the West of England.[2]

Kerr says she tries to blend her experience of Shetland coastline - the weather, the ocean, and the people who live and work there -- as well oceanographic studies, in her art.[2][3]
